Hello Everybody! My name is John Nafrady and I’m the baby of the group. I sing lead for Divine Mercy, but that’s largely due to my having such a difficult time in finding a harmony part. I joined Divine Mercy in March of 2013. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in this capacity.
I have a heart for overseas mission work and have been on mission in Kenya, East Africa, twice. I really look forward to the day I can go back. I also have a heart for local mission work, and at one time was the manager of Helping Hand Ministries out of Wing Avenue Baptist Church in Owensboro. I can go on for hours speaking of the many ways I have seen God move in both areas.
I married my beautiful wife Doris on January 27 of 1984. She’s my best friend, and I love her dearly. We have three children and six grandchildren. We live in Utica Kentucky and love the fact that our home is in the middle of the woods where we can watch deer from our back deck. Doris loves Gospel music and we really appreciate the great job she’s done running sound for the group.
